How we work

A process with no
mystery in it.

Every stage of our work is visible to you. There are no black-box deliverables, no unexplained recommendations, and no periods of silence where you wonder if anything is happening. This page explains exactly how a project runs from first contact to ongoing management.

Process principles

Why process matters as much as expertise

Good SEO without a reliable process produces inconsistent results. A client might see strong growth in month 3 and then nothing for three months because work was prioritised poorly, or because there was no documented plan to adjust to what the data was showing.

Our process is designed to prevent that. It is structured, documented, and transparent — which means you are never dependent on a single person's memory of your account, and we can always trace back a decision to the data that informed it.

Every client goes through the same five-stage structure. The tactics vary by site, niche, and competition level — the framework does not.

Documented at every stage
Every recommendation, every change, every decision is written down. Nothing relies on verbal memory.
Adjusted monthly based on data
What worked in month 1 might not be the priority in month 4. The roadmap is a living document.
Visible to you at all times
You have access to the strategy document, the rank tracker, and the monthly report at all times.
The five stages

From brief to ranking

01
Week 1

Discovery & Baseline

We start with a site crawl, competitor analysis, and keyword baseline. This gives us a clear picture of where you stand today, what your competitors are doing that you are not, and which opportunities are the highest value.

Site crawl and indexation review
Google Search Console data analysis
Keyword baseline and volume mapping
Competitor authority and content gap assessment
02
Week 2

Strategy & Roadmap

Based on the discovery findings, we build a 3 to 12-month roadmap with clear priorities: what to fix first, which content to create, which links to acquire, and how to measure progress. You see and approve this before work begins.

Priority actions ranked by impact
Content opportunities mapped to search intent
Link acquisition targets identified
Technical fix schedule agreed
03
Months 1–3

Execution

Work starts. Technical fixes, on-page optimisation, content creation, link outreach — all coordinated against the roadmap. We work in monthly sprints so you can track progress against agreed deliverables.

Technical changes logged and verified
On-page work tracked by page
Link outreach batched and reported
Content production scheduled against briefs
04
Monthly

Measure & Report

Every month you receive a report showing ranking changes, traffic movement, links acquired, and technical fixes implemented. We track everything in Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and GA4 — and we show you the actual numbers, not vanity metrics.

Ranking movements by keyword group
Traffic trends vs baseline
Backlinks acquired in period
Technical and on-page changes implemented
05
Quarterly

Refine & Scale

As results come in, we double down on what is working and stop what is not. Quarterly strategy reviews recalibrate the roadmap based on new data, algorithm changes, and evolving business goals.

Strategy adjusted based on what worked
New keyword opportunities from ranking data
Competitor activity reviewed
Roadmap updated for next quarter
Monthly reporting
